The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
